⛩ Chihiro steps through a tunnel and crosses into the spirit world, a realm where names shape destiny and memory nourishes freedom. Renamed Sen by Yubaba, the young heroine learns that forgetting binds and remembering becomes a form of magic. Her initial fear does not halt her, she turns it into vigilance and courage. Through the corridors of the bathhouse, among steam and lanterns, Chihiro discovers the weight of responsibility, the importance of diligent work and the quiet strength of kindness. Within this living setting, her decisive bond with Haku takes shape, a discreet guide whose soul has lost its name.

Haku first appears as an enigmatic servant bound by Yubaba’s contracts, yet he is also the river spirit whose identity has been erased. His dual nature is revealed through his transformations, especially when he assumes the form of a graceful dragon, symbol of a magic rooted in elements and memory. Behind his reserve lies profound loyalty and a quiet affection for Chihiro. Wounded and hunted by binding spells, he embodies the lost memory of nature, the forgotten rivers the human world has buried. His destiny is to remember who he is, and Chihiro becomes the spark that rekindles his name.
